Olive season has come to and end. The olives were harvested and pressed for oil. In Maroco, we harvest the olives by hand which is quite a labor intensive business. It’s done this way: a large plastic is laid out under the tree, then you take a long stick and start to beat at the olives to knock them down.
I spent the day walking the small villages at the base of the Atlas Mountains. The scenery is amazing! I hope to get back some day soon.
